Has the European Industry Made Progress on the Social Pillar of the ESG?

Social risk exposure is high in Europe. According to second edition of the European Sustainable Industry Barometer, social risks like income and wealth, gender gap, child labour, poverty, refugees, and social unrest are not only on the rise but have even been exacerbated as a result of climate change, conflict, and Covid-19.

The Barometer, developed by CSR Europe in collaboration with Moody’s ESG Solutions, provides data on the sustainability level and maturity of European industry federations, with a focus on the social dimension of their ESG efforts, demonstrating the progresses made and where additional efforts are needed.

Learn more about the key findings of the Barometer 2022 at the official launch at the European SDG Roundtable “A State of the Union on Social Progress”, on 10 October at 09:30-11:00 CET.
