CSR Europe’s People Programme for an Inclusive Just Transition
The 2023 People Programme will guide members on a journey to foster inclusive workplaces amid the challenges brought about the green transition and the increasing costs.
The COVID-19 pandemic left the mark in the workplace. From “the Great Resignation” to “Quiet Quitting” businesses are facing low employee morale, decreased efficiency, and diminishing customer satisfaction. CSR Europe’s People programme for 2023 aims at ensuring the centrality of people as companies transition to net-zero.
CSR Europe members will have the opportunity to engage in:
The People Atelier series “Get Ready for the Employee 3.0 & Social Regulations” (corporates-only)
EU Policy Dialogue with the People Leadership Hub “A Just Transition for our workforce” and EU policy updates.
The People Atelier series “Get Ready for the Employee 3.0 & Social Regulations”
Over the course of three sessions, CSR Europe will guide its corporate members in reinventing corporate leadership and the function of HR department to meet employees’ needs, stay competitive as a business and comply with upcoming new Social Standards. Members are invited to register to all the three events as each session builds upon previous exchanges.
Session I: Addressing the Needs of the Employee 3.0 on 18 April
Session II in-person: Fostering a Culture of Belonging in the Workplace on 19 September
Session III: The Impact of Social Standards on Business Strategy on 21 November
EU Policy Dialogue
CSR Europe’s People Leadership Hub will focus on “A Just Transition for our workforce”. Corporate Members and National Partner Organisations will engage European policymakers to ensure social justice in the EU climate and energy policy. This engagement will build up towards the development of policy recommendations that will feed CSR Europe’s “policy paper for a social green deal 2024-2029”.
Besides the People Leadership Hub, CSR Europe will continue to keep members up-to-date on the EU policy developments with EU webinars and dedicated EU policy briefs, the EU Issue Insights.
Activities open also to non-members include:
CSR Europe’s Sustainability Open Day
The event, which will take place online on 12 October, will feature the session “Building Social Science based Targets”, looking into the potential solutions to the lack of reliable metrics to track progresses in the social dimension of the ESG.
