Our validated 2030 targets reflect our dedication to reducing GHG emissions in our operations and value chain. We are proud to lead the way in decarbonization of the industry with a goal of carbon neutrality by 2040.

Ilham Kadri, CEO of Syensqo

Syensqo’s 2030 ambition is in line with a 1.5°C trajectory and prepares for Syensqo's objective to achieve carbon neutrality of its scope 1 and 2 by 2040 with reducing emissions by at least 80% compared to 2021 and compensating residual, hard-to-abate emissions with high-integrity credits3.

To advance concretely on its Scope 3 emissions reduction,  the company is launching a Climate Pledge targeting a mutual agreement with at least its top 70 suppliers, which account for c.80% of the group’s GHG emissions from raw materials purchased, with the aim of creating more sustainable value chains across its markets.

“The Syensqo Climate Pledge is a collaborative effort that emphasizes the importance of partnership and shared responsibility in addressing climate change. By working closely with our suppliers, we aim to create a ripple effect of positive change in the sector, offering lower carbon solutions to our customers and ultimately contributing to a more sustainable world.” Titta Rosvall-Puplett, Chief Sustainability Officer at Syensqo.
