Innovation, digitalization, and sustainability are key drivers for more resilient food systems.
Today’s food systems account for nearly one-third of global GHG emissions, and consume large amounts of natural resources, resulting in the loss of biodiversity. Furthermore, the current system often does not allow for fair economic returns to actors across the supply chain, especially primary producers.
This is why the European Commission recently adopted the Farm to Fork Strategy. The strategy is part of the European Green Deal, and aims to make food systems fair, healthy, and environmentally friendly.
So how can we redesign our Food Systems to make them more sustainable and resilient to future crises? Join this National Roundtable to discover:
The importance of innovation and collaboration along the agri-food supply chains
How to work together with the other actors across the supply chain to achieve positive impacts
The challenges and opportunities for businesses
